Some 18 participants from 12 educational institutions benefited from a digital Age Security workshop offered by the Consortium of Metropolitan Libraries (COBIMET) at American University, Bayamón.
The "Fundamentals of Digital Security" workshop aimed to raise awareness among librarians and participating professors about the problem of divulging personal information in digital media, as well as the risks that the use of technology can have on health and environment. In turn, they had the opportunity to train to identify signals and acquire prevention tools related to the use of technology.
