COBIMET announced the launch of its Mobile Library at a press conference held in the Music Conservatory of Puerto Rico on 13 November 2014.
COBIMET's Mobile Virtual Library project overcomes the physical limits of the classroom by linking formal learning contexts, taking advantage of global resources and tools with the aim of allowing users to configure their own learning spaces. The event was attended by Rectors, Deans, Library Directors, Professors and students from COBIMET member institutions who expressed their congratulations to COBIMET for this important initiative. With the establishment of the Mobile Library COBIMET once again fulfils its corporate vision of providing access to "Information without barriers".
