On 28 April 2017, COBIMET offered the workshop Developing Digital information skills in the Bayamón Central University. The resource was Profa. María M. Cruz-Guilloty, instructional designer with over 15 years experience in the area of technology integration in the educational environment.
In his presentation, Professor Cruz-Guilloty covered the following objectives:
- Discuss the importance of digital information skills.
- To describe the digital competencies essential to educate and learn with new technologies.
- Identify tools to facilitate the development of digital competencies.
- Implement ICT tools in the creation of instructional activities.
11 higher education institutions and a K-12 level school were represented in the workshop.
