During the month of May, the Consortium of Metropolitan Libraries (COBIMET) offered the workshop "Introduction to data analysis with MS Excel 2016"At American University in Bayamón. The workshop aimed to discuss the fundamental concepts of this tool to interpret and present important indicators for decision-making. Participants had the opportunity to analyze data through tables and dynamic charts and build a control panel.
The appeal, Prof. María M. Cruz-Guilloty, guided the participants during the two sessions and offered recommendations to apply the concepts discussed in their respective roles. In the words of the participants, "The workshop exceeded my expectationsandThank you for helping, I hope to continue doing workshop for professional growth". A total of 16 participants representing six educational institutions benefited from the workshop.
